Information about Wat Botum Temple
The King of Cambodia ordered the construction of Wat Botom Temple in the fifteenth century. It is located south of the royal palace in Wat Botom Park. It is one of the five oldest temples of this type in Phnom Penh. It is surrounded by many towers containing the king’s remains, along with ancient tombs of important people. The entrance to this pagoda contains colossal yellow and green statues of deities.
