This War Childhood Museum in Sarajevo opened in January of 2017. It contains a number of personal belongings, stories, audio-visual testimonies, photographs, letters, drawings and other documents that provide valuable information about the unique experience of growing up in wartime. Knowing that this museum was awarded the Museums Prize by the Council of Europe for the year 2018, one of the most prestigious awards given to museums.
