Walt Disney's daughter Diane founded the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco to explore aspects of the life of Walt Disney, founder of the well-known Disney company. The museum reflects on various aspects of the life of this well-known character, in relation to his work and personal life, and provides an overview of the art of animation and how Disney works. The 40,000-square-foot museum includes interactive galleries, educational classrooms, a fantasy world-theater, as well as a shop and café.
