It is a national park and nature reserve that is part of the lowlands of the Carpathians. It is one of the smallest national parks in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is a picturesque natural area where many tall trees and small herbs grow. It also includes a small waterfall and many lakes. It is equipped with all service facilities that attract tourism, as hiking and camping trips abound to the area. The park was established in order to preserve the landscape and archaeological monuments in the area as well, as this national park is located in an area rich in historical and cultural attractions such as churches, shrines, and old houses.
