The historical Vydubytsky monastery was founded by the son of Yaroslav the Wise Prince Vsevolod, and is a distinctive example and symbol of Orthodoxy from the eleventh century AD. It is located at the bottom of a hill near the Kyiv Botanical Garden, and houses a collection of oil paintings from the late 19th century, acrylic murals, and more.
