Volcanic Art Gallery and Center is an educational institution whose mission is to promote and develop the artistic and cultural heritage of the Hawaiians and the environment in which they live, embodied and brought to life through the many activities of the visual, literary, and performing arts. The gallery also hosts workshops and organizes nature walks. Located inside the former Volcano House Hotel, built in 1877, this gallery is open year-round, seven days a week.
