Vinh Dinh is one of the major rivers in Vietnam and it is mainly branched from the Thu Bon River. According to historical documents, it is said that this river was once a small shallow water river until 1824 when the king appointed 3000 people to dig a river of 1640 pine trees from the municipality of Cau It is even called Cam Sa in Quang Nam Province, and is named after Vinh Din River.
