Villa La Maggia is one of the symbols of the Renaissance in Tuscany, as it was built in the fourteenth century by the wealthy Benchiati family, and then bought by a member of the de' Medici royal family a few years later. It is a wonderfully beautiful villa surrounded by fountains and vast gardens that will impress everyone who sees it. Inside the villa, visitors will also find majestic murals, gilded plasterwork, spacious rooms and much more. UNESCO has placed this villa on the World Heritage List for its splendor.
