The Van Staden Bridge was built in 1971 AD, and was considered at the time the longest concrete arch bridge in South Africa, with a length of about 198 meters and a height of 125 meters. The bridge is located above the Van Staden River, connecting the two ends of the valley to each other, and the bridge is famous as an area that allows tourists and locals to get a charming view of the river and the city in general.
