A group of gardens belonging to the University of Utrecht, established in the vicinity of the 19th century Hoved Dyke fortress. It consists of a group of gardens, including rock gardens, a regular garden, and a theme garden. These gardens are mainly educational and research gardens, but they are also open to the public and regular activities are organized in them. Among the garden’s festivals is the Butterfly Festival, which lasts for two consecutive months from July 1 to September 1, where you can watch tropical butterflies closely.
