Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve covers an area of 22,000 hectares, and is one of the natural and tourist destinations that attract thousands of tourists every year. It is located on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, centered around an estuary and a hydrographic basin that ends with the formation of a large salt marsh, and coastal landscapes with cliffs and towering rocky heads, and is home to many and varied species of wonderful birds.
