The University of Alberta Botanical Garden is the largest garden of its kind in the region, and is located on an area of up to 240 acres, and is visited by many people, both locals and tourists, as it is decorated with an impressive array of plants and trees that are distributed in the Japanese garden, large tropical greenhouses and the inspired Aga Khan Garden. Of Islamic architecture, it also includes a number of water pools, long paths and quiet terraces.
