Ubon Ratchathani National Museum is located in an old building built in 1918 AD. It is one of the museums that tells a lot about the region and aims to preserve local arts and culture. It consists of 10 sections with topics ranging from geography, history of the establishment of the city, archaeological discoveries, local handicrafts and artifacts. Art, folk games, property belonging to former rulers, ethnology, religion and politics, and many traditional and international events are held from time to time.
