Tsaritsyno is a museum and reserve in the south of Moscow, located in the mansion of the same name, featuring an architectural complex from the late 18th century, greenhouses, a landscaped historic garden with ponds, new picnic areas and a dynamic light fountain. Created as a suburban residence for Empress Catherine II, the palace complex was designed and built on an area of 405 hectares by the architect Vasily Bazhenov.
