This station was called Trubsee station because it is the station at which the Tuttles Engelberg cable car stops near the famous Trubsee lake with emerald waters, and it is a place where visitors can practice various winter and summer activities and sports. The cable car from the Tropsee station runs towards the Gershnalp station, where visitors will be able to practice skiing and other winter activities.
