One of the most important natural treasures of Slovenia. Being one of the oldest parks in Europe. The first attempts to establish it date back to 1906. It covers an area of approximately 84,000 hectares. The management of the park is the responsibility of the Triglav National Public Foundation. The national park is an exemplary example of success in achieving harmony between different interests focused on a common goal: well-preserved nature, landscape and cultural heritage.
