Tricity is a picturesque natural area covering an area of 199.3 km², extending into the complex of Polish forests and separated by the Reda River. This park carries with it a natural, historical and cultural value. It was established primarily in order to preserve some of the archaeological buildings, and to protect the nature and terrain that formed after the Ice Age; It is also home to some animals such as swans, owls and black storks.
