The village of Toujane has a wonderful architectural character in line with the color and scenery of the surrounding mountains. Its Berber houses were built on the mountain and some caves were dug in the rock. The residents of this village still preserve their customs and traditions that have been passed down through the generations. Its inhabitants use trees in the manufacture of agricultural tools and they pick olives and harvest honey, and this village is home to the oldest olive press in the region.
