The Threads of Life Shop is a long-established traditional textile shop that was opened to alleviate poverty in rural Indonesia. This museum was opened to display various assortments of these textiles and baskets made of local materials and natural dyes that date back to different times and regions and in different shapes, in order to keep the traditions alive to this day. Proceeds from this exhibition are used to help weavers form independent cooperatives and manage their resources sustainably. It is a wonderful gallery and you must visit and enjoy seeing the textiles and buy some with your family and friends.
