Information about The White Lady
The White Lady, also known as Wet Dam or Philips Lighthouse, is a Philips building, built between 1928 and 1931, and designed by the talented and well-known Dutch architect at the time, Dirk Roosenburg. Initially, the building was used to create light bulbs, and in around 1980 it was abandoned because the company moved its manufacturing to the international level. Nowadays, the White Lady Building houses various offices, stores, and banks, as well as Philips design offices, the MU Gallery, and the Municipal Public Library.
