The Tarragona Museum, housed in a uniquely architecturally designed building dating back to the 1970s, was established primarily in order to document the local heritage and preserve the historical inventory and the artistic and architectural heritage of Kathmandu, as well as to appreciate the efforts of the foreign artists, photographers, architects and anthropologists who worked in Kathmandu Valley during the second half of the twentieth century (for 50 years). In addition to the distinctive collectibles, this museum provides a small restaurant with a unique atmosphere, distinctive design and excellent displays.
