Hluboka Castle was built in the thirteenth century AD to serve the Bohemian royal family, and was rebuilt several times until it settled in its current form in the nineteenth century. It is one of the most beautiful castles in the region, and is surrounded by spacious gardens, which are (along with the palace) a national cultural monument. In addition, it is unique in its high-rise tower, which provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding areas and the distant horizon.
