The Royal Garden is famous for its rare botanical models and exotic plants that were brought from faraway countries. In its early days, it included a number of buildings that served the entertainment of the nobles, such as the ball games hall, the summer royal palace and the Lion's Stadium. The garden now follows the tradition of an "English-style" park established there in the mid-19th century, but also contains elements of Renaissance as well as Baroque elements.
