The Island Palace was classified as a historical monument in Annecy in 1900. It is located on a triangular island surrounded by the Teo Canal. It is often described as a "ship-shaped house." The rooms inside this stunning stone building today house permanent exhibits on local history, including a collection of medieval and 19th-century industrial coins, as well as temporary art exhibitions.
