The Museum of Natural History of Crete, the largest exhibition of its kind in the Mediterranean, operates under the auspices of the University of Crete. His aim is to study, protect and promote the diverse flora and fauna of the Eastern Mediterranean with a special focus on Greece and Crete, where he presents the natural environment in an impressive way. It includes five departments: zoology, botany, anthropology, geology and mineralogy.
