Located just below the city gate, the Dungeon Museum is one of a kind. This museum contains a lot of exhibits that narrate the mysterious circumstances and events that describe the dark Maltese history. You will pass a lot of secret passages, rooms and cells hidden underground. Among these exhibits: wax models that are very close to reality, torture tools, guillotines, cages, and others. It is equipped with sound effects and good lighting, in order to convey a close picture of what was happening in prisons in the past. It's an amazing place, so don't miss it when you come to Malta.
