Information about The Kaaba alsharifa
The Kaaba is the qiblah of Muslims in their prayers, and they circumambulate around it during the performance of the Hajj. Muslims believe that those who built the Kaaba for the first time were the angels before Adam, and one of its names is also the Sacred House, so called because God prohibited fighting in it, and it is the holiest place on earth. God Almighty ordered the Prophet Ibrahim to raise the bases of the Kaaba, and his son Ismail helped him in building it. The Kaaba is located approximately in the middle of the Sacred Mosque in the form of a large room, high in structure, square in shape, and its height is 13.1 meters, and the length of its side on which its door is is twelve meters, and so is the one opposite it. In the era of Ismail, its height was nine cubits, and it was without a roof, and it had a door attached to the ground, until Tabaa came and made a roof for it, then Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim came after him and made an iron door for it and decorated it with gold, and he was the first to adorn the Kaaba with gold.
