Located within the University of Pretoria, The Javett Art Centre is an art space that aims to document and share local artworks with the public, in addition to encouraging modern work. The center organizes many educational programs in various fields, including music, arts, poetry and dance. In addition to organizing lectures and seminars related to the country's artistic history, the center also owns 3 permanent art collections documenting the history of local arts in the twentieth century.
