The Migration Museum in the State of Sao Paulo works to document the history of immigrants who arrived in Brazil. It was established in 1993. The museum includes a permanent exhibition documenting the immigration process and the identities of immigrants, in addition to a collection of more than 200 pieces of travel bags and furniture belonging to immigrants. The museum also includes more than 1,200 pieces donated by a group of immigrants, the museum also includes a large garden with many plants and trees, as well as a small souvenir shop, a café and a workshop hall.
