The Opium Hall of the Golden Triangle Garden is an invitation to the mysterious world of opium. Exhibits will tell the history of the 5,000-year-old opium trade, its natural properties and its uses. It will also trace the global opium journey through the trade routes of the age of imperialism and explain how it culminated in the Opium Wars and the event that brought shame upon all. Of the winners and losers, which led to the fall of the Manchu dynasty.
