This museum is owned by (Jay Paul Getty), who is famous for his great wealth and passion for collecting classical artworks from different eras, most notably the Greek and Roman arts. Upon his death, his villa was transformed into a large art museum accessible to all and the art collections of about 300 different and interesting pieces of art are displayed in the indoor and outdoor courtyard.
