This distinctive tower was built in 1903, and it is one of the towers built in Palestine during the era of the Ottoman Empire in honor of Sultan Abdul Hamid II and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his rule. It was named after him, Abdul Hamid II Tower. The tower is located in the center of Jaffa in Martyrs Square, where there are many interesting historical and archaeological monuments. Today, the clock tower is one of the most prominent tourist attractions, where many gather to take memorial photos and contemplate the beauty of this archaeological place.
