This botanical garden is one of the departments of the University's Botanical Institute. It includes a large group of Polish plants that are protected and endangered and need special protection in natural conditions, besides mountain and medicinal plants, there are also some useful plants such as vegetables, fruits, spice herbs, and fiber crops. Trees and shrubs cover a large area of the garden, making it look like a park, where ornamental plants such as lilac add aesthetic value to the garden.
