Located in one of the most remote northern villages in Iceland, The Artic Heng is a massive piece of stone masonry that evokes Neolithic monuments around the world. Started in 1996, the Artic Heng project is a monument not only to the country's northern roots, but also to some of the neo-pagan beliefs that arose in certain regions. It has a modern shape that resembles a huge sundial, aiming to catch the sun's rays and cast shadows at precise locations!
