Tinegia is an active volcano located on the enchanting island of La Palma, which made the front page in news bullets around the world when it erupted in 1971, its eruption covered much of the southern tip of the island with lava and volcanic gravel, and it was declared a natural monument in the eighth century. Ten, it also contains many interesting hiking trails surrounded by amazing volcanic landscapes.
