Sibyla Temple is located in the center of Balchik, and was discovered in the spring of 2007 during excavations that were taking place to build a hotel in that area. To the inscriptions, documents and coins that were found, it was discovered that the temple was built by the goddess Cybele in the third century BC, and this temple has received archaeological status of global importance, due to the complexity of its construction and the discoveries that were found.
