This temple was built by a group of Indian merchants two hundred years ago, after the harassment they were subjected to from the Dutch Empire, where they seized many of its features. That area, and the building has been subjected to many accidents and multiple restorations until it became this way, which is a colorful ornate shrine dedicated to the Hindu god Lord Muruga.
