Taroko National Park is located in the eastern part of Taichung City in Taiwan. It was established on November 28, 1986 AD, and covers more than 92,000 hectares in the northern part of the Central Mountain Range. This park is characterized by high mountains and absolute valleys, and includes a mountain range, many of whose peaks rise above 3000 meters, with many natural wonders, from which you can easily see the amazing Taroko Valley and the scenic beauty of Liwu River. Diverse mountain peaks, numerous waterfalls, diverse plant forms and animal life are integrated in this stunning park, along with the rich texture of its unique natural ecosystem.
