Located in the famous Chapultepec Park, within walking distance of the National Museum of Anthropology, the Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art regularly hosts several contemporary art galleries displaying its extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, photographs and other contemporary artworks. It was named after the artist, Rufino Tamayo, one of the most famous painters in Mexico, and displays his distinctive collection.
