Located on the island of Kalimantan, Tanjung Putting National Park is one of the nature reserves created specifically to protect the orangutans that live on its vast territory. It consists of 1,174 square miles of swampy terrain, diverse habitats, and tropical forests. It is also home to endangered crocodiles, frogs, snakes, dragon fish and 230 species of birds and other wild species that can be seen and identified by booking tours.
