Information about Tallinn Gate
The Tallinn Gate is the only surviving 17th century gate with a bridge in the Baltic states; It was known as King Carl Gustav's Gate until 1710; From this gate a bridge leads across the moat to a postal road to Tallinn. The creator of this gate is probably Eric Dahlberg who built similar gates and forts in Narva and Riga as well, nowadays visitors can walk through the huge baroque gate and admire the beautiful beach area of Pärnu!
