Syntagma Square is the central square in the Greek capital, Athens, and was named after the constitution that Otto, the first king of Greece, had to grant after a popular and military uprising in 1843. The nineteenth century, which includes the Greek Parliament, which has existed since 1934, and various types of important events and activities are held in the square throughout the year.
