The Miskolc Synagogue is one of the most important buildings of Hungarian Romanesque architecture in Miskolc. It was built between 1861 and 1863 by Ludwig Förster, who also designed the synagogue on Duane Street in Budapest. The furniture of the original Miskolc was changed in 1864, and has a marble memorial table at the main gate to the victims and Jews kidnapped from Miskolc and surrounding settlements in 1944.
