The Sydney Harbor Bridge, the sixth longest (in the form of an arch) bridge in the world, connects the city's central business district with the North Shore, and consists of 8 car and truck lanes, 2 pedestrian paths, and 2 rail and train tracks. The Sydney Harbor Bridge, like the Opera House located near it, is one of the symbols of the city in particular, and Australia in general. This bridge was built under the supervision of Dr. Bradfield of the Department of Public Works of New South Wales, and you can see the aesthetic of the unique design of the bridge, amid the large arch extending above it.
