It is an Armenian fortress and stone church dating back to the 18th century AD, and its construction began specifically between 1703 and 1711, and was rebuilt in 1780. It is one of the most visited places in the city. It is frequented by tourists and locals alike. It is characterized by its beautiful building, full of columns and carvings, and although it is almost destroyed and outdated, it is one of the most remembered landmarks for the city's tourists. Inside you will find a beautiful golden altar, and many murals. It is easily accessible by public transport as it is located near the old town of Tbilisi.
