The Sultan Qaboos Mosque was built in the city of Bahla in 1996 by order of the ruling Sultan Qaboos bin Said. It is characterized by an Islamic architectural style mixed with the traditional Omani architecture styles. It is decorated from the inside with distinctive Islamic and Quranic inscriptions and decorations, surrounded by a group of trees and green plants that give it A charming view, and the mosque consists of several facilities, such as the Holy Qur'an school, a public library, a prayer hall, a women's prayer room, ablution places, toilets, and others.
