This historic castle has been converted into the Silver Museum, and the Silver Museum (Sterckshof) is a center for research, expertise and promotion of the silver trade. In 2007 the museum was the first museum to win the Art History Award for the Art and Antiques Gallery of Hertogenbosch, the museum has a very diverse silver collection, covering the period from the 16th century to the present. The artifacts are presented objectively, with modern display techniques and branding, and the museum also houses exceptional examples of antique Belgian furniture.
