In the historical center of Piatra Neam, specifically next to the Royal Church, is the bell tower or Stephen the Great, which was built in 1499 AD, one year after the church was built. On the facade of the tower you can see rows of bricks and the famous glazed and colored small terracotta panels. Today there are four bells in the bell room, the large bell, from the seventeenth century, which is distinguished by its unique sound, and another of the nineteenth century and two others that have been recently restored.
