The Ibn Khaldoun memorial was carved by the late painter Zubair al-Turki in 1978 AD, at the request of President Habib Bourguiba and in celebration of the Tunisian historian, sociologist and philosopher "Ibn Khaldun". It is located in the heart of the Tunisian capital and everyone who visits it and goes to Habib Bourguiba Street can see it. A marble plaque bearing some of his aphorisms was added to it.
