The Holy Trinity Church is considered one of the most important Baroque churches in Germany. The site of the church today was an imperial gate built by Cort Menge between 1570 and 1578. The building was large with two floors, but after the Thirty Years' War it became militarily useless, so the courtroom on the top floor was used as a prayer room from 1655 as a solution Temporary, and then over time the place was converted into a church.
